Revenue Cycle Manager – Healthcare Billing & Operations

RehabVisions is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead billing operations, accounts receivable, denial management, reporting, credentialing coordination, and revenue cycle process improvement for our clinic division.
This role is ideal for a healthcare revenue cycle professional who enjoys leading teams, improving workflows, analyzing performance data, and helping clinics operate more efficiently. The Revenue Cycle Manager will work closely with billing staff, clinic leaders, credentialing, front office teams, and operations to strengthen reimbursement performance, reduce aging accounts, resolve payer issues, and improve overall revenue cycle outcomes.
What You’ll Do
As the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will oversee day-to-day revenue cycle operations for the clinic division, including timely claim submission, payment posting, claim follow-up, denial resolution, payer performance tracking, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and support billing specialists and revenue cycle staff
- Oversee clinic billing operations to ensure timely and accurate claim submission
- Monitor accounts receivable aging, collections, reimbursement trends, and payer delays
- Identify and resolve claim rejections, denials, underpayments, and zero-pay claims
- Develop workflows that improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- Track denial trends and implement corrective action plans
- Partner with clinic leadership and operations to improve reimbursement outcomes
- Collaborate with credentialing staff to monitor payer enrollment and reimbursement readiness
- Build and maintain revenue cycle reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Provide leadership with clear, actionable insights related to collections, denials, aging, payer performance, charge lag, and productivity
- Train, coach, and develop revenue cycle team members
- Support compliance with payer requirements, HIPAA regulations, and company policies
- Participate in system and process improvements, including Raintree optimization
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare billing knowledge, leadership ability, analytical thinking, and a process improvement mindset.
Qualifications
- Experience with Raintree or a similar healthcare billing system STRONGLY preferred
- Experience in outpatient therapy or multi-clinic healthcare operations STRONGLY preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or accounts receivable operations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- BS/BA degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Strong understanding of medical billing, collections, claims processing, denials management, payer follow-up, and healthcare reimbursement
- Advanced Excel and reporting/analytics skills
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
