RehabVisions Names New CEO
I wanted to share some leadership changes we are making to better serve our patients, employees and clients now and in the future. This month I announced to the company that I was formally transitioning out of the CEO role and naming current CFO Darrell Metcalf as my successor. I will continue to lead our company board, which is my immediate family. My brother Rick will now serve as RehabVisions’ president retaining the position of chief operating officer. With Rick helping me found the business and Darrell at 21 years as CFO, I am confident the company will be in good hands.
My change in status will not affect my family’s involvement in the business. Rick is 12 years my junior and will continue running the Operations Team day to day. Doug Larmore, my son, will continue to oversee sales and business development. Additionally, the board of directors, will stay unchanged with my family ensuring the continuity of our strategic vision.
As I watched the company’s response to the pandemic orchestrated by Darrell, Rick and our management team, it became apparent that now was the perfect time for me to step back and them to step forward. Despite the trials this health emergency has created for many businesses, RehabVisions went into the crisis strong, and we are positioned to emerge even stronger. We have adapted to the changed environment and believe we have much to offer patients across their entire continuum of care. While we aren’t necessarily through the upheaval, I think there are signs we will come through this as a nation.
One of my greatest pleasures in life has been serving our clients for 38 years. Their trust in RehabVisions has allowed us to grow outstanding clinicians and rehab departments, nurture leaders, and most importantly serve the people of some amazing communities along the way.
Those efforts will continue well into the future.
