RehabVisions

More than just Staffing

When you contract with RehabVisions, we want to be more than just your therapy provider. We want to be a resource you look to for expertise in our industry. Our goal is to collaborate with your staff and provide regular communication and information to enhance therapy programming.

As an added value for our senior living partners, each quarter we provide marketing and training information for residents, caregivers and staff. We call this effort RehabVisions Time-Out. Because it’s easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of the day-to-day, we ask our staff to take specific “time out” to provide this valuable training. Past topics have focused on:

  • Fall Prevention
  • Communication Tips for Those with Aphasia
  • Reducing Negative Behaviors in Those with Dementia
  • Five Reasons to Refer to Occupational Therapy
  • Dysphagia/Dining Interventions

Along with the training provided in these RehabVisions Time-Outs, we often include printed handouts, social media posts, newsletter copy and other helpful marketing materials.

Additionally, we believe communication is one of the most important aspects of our business partnerships. Regulatory and Reimbursement Specialist Wendy Mead, RN provides regular updates and clarifications on changes and is a resource for facility staff and administrators.

Likewise, as the Senior Living Director of Operations I also hold monthly conference calls with our senior living rehab directors. At that time we review any company news, share documentation tips, and give the rehab directors time to share ideas. This monthly gathering allows these clinical leaders to use the network they are a part of.

And finally, to our skilled nursing administrators, we send quarterly RehabVisions Updates. This is an emailed newsletter covering such topics as industry news as well as regulatory and reimbursement changes.

Again, our goal when you partner with RehabVisions is not to just “staff” your building with therapists but to be a collaborative resource of experts providing the best therapy possible to your residents.
