Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re currently seeking an ambitious full-time Accounting Specialist to join us in our Home Office in Omaha. We’re interested in hearing from people who connect with our values and want to bring something more to our team.

This position will perform various accounting functions within a medical travel staffing division, including processing of payables, journal entry preparation and posting, processing expense reports, billing and collection, intercompany activity. We have an experienced team that truly enjoy working together, a fun and motivating environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reconcile and post journal entries related to revenue, cash receipts and expense reports
• Generate weekly invoices using internal software and 3rd party client sites
• Review and follow up on collections
• Review financial reports for margin discrepancies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting or higher preferred.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn and utilize specialized software.
• Keen sense of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to follow directions and procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities as needed to maintain maximum desk efficiency.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
