RehabVisions Expands to the Amarillo and Canyon Communities
At RehabVisions, we pride ourselves on not only providing holistic patient care but also forming meaningful connections within the communities we serve. RehabVisions Physical Therapy (a.k.a. “RehabVisions Canyon”) — one of several recent additions to our Outpatient Clinic division — embodies these goals wholeheartedly.
What makes this clinic such a unique addition to the Amarillo and Canyon (Texas) area? “We embrace the RehabVisions philosophy of treating patients as a whole person rather than just a body part or diagnosis,” says clinic manager Audrey Lamberson, PT. “People who have had physical therapy at other clinics regularly tell us that they have a completely different opinion of therapy under our care.”
The RehabVisions Canyon team includes Maegan Harder, PT, and Rikki Hanson, PTA.
“The three of us have worked well together as colleagues in the past,” says Audrey. “We’re excited to be working with each other again in our beautiful new clinic.”
“Maegan has primarily focused on pediatric therapy during her 13 years as a PT and is a Level C certified expert in Dynamic Movement Intervention, a unique type of pediatric therapy that is hard to come by,” says Audrey. “Rikki works with a variety of patients but has a highly skilled and compassionate approach to geriatrics and sports rehab.”
Audrey herself has worked at two RehabVisions clinics and has extensive experience with a wide range of diagnoses across the lifespan. She also continues to lead the team at Dumas Physical Therapy, our outpatient clinic in Dumas, Texas.
Maegan, Rikki and Audrey have provided physical therapy in hospitals, skilled nursing, home health and outpatient clinic settings, making them uniquely equipped to offer care throughout the entirety of the rehab process.
“Our depth of experience and skills allow us to address situations where other therapists in our area may not have much experience,” says Audrey.
The RehabVisions team continues to foster a sense of trust with providers, local schools, fellow businesses and residents.
“All of us live in or near this area and have strong relationships in place with the community,” says Audrey. “We are also members of the Canyon Chamber of Commerce, and I am an active participant in their monthly Women in Business meetings to further the community’s awareness of the benefits of physical therapy on quality of life.”
The team moved into the newly-built clinic in November 2023. RehabVisions Canyon held its official grand opening a month later with a ribbon-cutting and open house for the community.
“We were incredibly impressed with the huge turnout and local buzz at our grand opening,” says Audrey. “It was encouraging to see how many people were genuinely excited to welcome RehabVisions as part of the Canyon and Amarillo community.”
Leading a team committed to serving their patients and the community fills Audrey with excitement for a bright future ahead. “With such a fantastic team and the incredible support we have — both from the home office and our local community — there’s nowhere to go but up!”
RehabVisions also provides exceptional contract therapy services for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
